NHS hospital steers staff to Liftshare to reduce car parking issues

The opening of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospitals campus in Glasgow presented an opportunity for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board to boost the number of staff car-sharing, a coordinated objective to reduce reliance on single occupancy vehicle journeys.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s approach towards car-sharing resulted in an increase of 147 registered journeys in January 2014 to a record 976 journeys in January 2015.
