Reporting to:

Role summary:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part time, 12 month maternity cover position in the Finance Team at Liftshare, with the potential of becoming permanent.  This role will be a key support to the Finance Officer in certain aspects of their work including various day to day finance administration duties.   The role is office based in Norwich.

Summary of main duties:

  • Assisting the Finance Officer/Operations Director/Finance Director with the day to day running of the finance department
  • Ensuring Liftshare client records are accurate and kept up to date on our systems
  • Ensuring invoicing is carried out in a timely and professional manner
  • Chasing outstanding payments via telephone, email and letter
  • Assisting the Finance Officer with month-end and year-end procedures
  • Ensuring all filing in relation to finance administration is carried out
  • Assisting with general finance queries from within the business and also from clients and suppliers
  • Assisting the business with any other duties that may require your skills and support
  • Strive for continued personal development
  • Working with colleagues across the company to ensure that all Liftshare’s service provision, whether online, via telephone, email or in person is warm, helpful and efficient
  • Other duties as required

 

Targets:

  • <60 debtor days average month on month

Person specification:

  • Embody Liftshare values of: passionate, helpful, efficient, effective, friendly
  • Good standard of education including GCSE Mathematics and English, grades A-C
  • Confident, warm and friendly telephone manner
  • Previous experience in chasing debtors with a robust attitude
  • Attention to detail and a high standard of written English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel
  • Happy to work within a small team, using your own initiative
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • Flexible attitude to assisting colleagues when necessary
  • Experience in Quickbooks desirable
