The government, in consultation with industry, has produced guidance to help ensure commuters and workplaces are as safe as possible.

As Johnson Matthey continues to grow, its car parking infrastructure has come under significance strain – which has a negative impact on employees, neighbouring residents and businesses.
To help protect Johnson Matthey’s reputation, the company has taken the steps to increase the capacity of available parking for staff by renting additional space from private land owners. But this, of course comes at a cost….

Whitbread has recruited the services of Liftshare, adopting car-sharing as a key tactic to reduce the number of vehicles travelling to its head office – its aim to not only alleviate car park congestion but also to help reduce CO2 emissions.
To embed its commitment to sustainability and act as a responsible neighbour, Jaguar Land Rover has introduced a car-sharing scheme through Liftshare as part of their Green Travel Plan. The scheme was put in place to reduce traffic on local roads, ease the demand for parking on-site and to save the business and its employee’s considerable money.
The automotive organisation was recently looking for a solution to reduce congestion in their car park and around their local area – as a result they opted to introduce a private Liftshare scheme for their organisation. (more…)
