Coronavirus (COVID-19): safer commuting guidance for commuters and workplaces
The government, in consultation with industry, has produced guidance to help ensure commuters and workplaces are as safe as possible.

The opening of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospitals campus in Glasgow presented an opportunity for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board to boost the number of staff car-sharing, a coordinated objective to reduce reliance on single occupancy vehicle journeys. (more…)

To embed its commitment to sustainability and act as a responsible neighbour, Jaguar Land Rover has introduced a car-sharing scheme through Liftshare as part of their Green Travel Plan. The scheme was put in place to reduce traffic on local roads, ease the demand for parking on-site and to save the business and its employee’s considerable money.
University of Exeter is one of the largest employers in the city employing approx. 2200 employees. Due to the location of the university and the geography of the local area, a large number of employees commute to work alone increasing the demand for car parking spaces on site. (more…)
AstraZeneca, located at various sites across the UK, employing nearly 6,000 staff were looking to increase awareness of sustainable transport options, as well as reduce parking problems and reduce local congestion near their sites. (more…)
